摘　　要：汉语联合式合成词对比强烈,语义丰富,比喻形象。本文拟从词汇学的角度来探讨联合式合成词的特点,及不同语义类型中的中译英。Some Chinese set expressions consist of two characters of opposite meanings. Rich in meaning and vivid in analogy, they can be very difficult to translate. This paper explores, from the angle of lexicology, the characteristics of these expressions and the methods of translating them into English.
