摘　　要：结合Verschueren的顺应理论,分析冗余现象在交际中作为语用策略的情况,指出它是与语言使用者、心理世界、社交世界和物理世界等交际语境相互顺应的结果。语言使用者适当采用冗余信息策略能确保交际的顺利进行。This paper attempts to apply Verschueren＇s Theory of Linguistic Adaptation to redundancy as a pragmatic strategy of speech acts. The author concludes that redundancy is actually the outcome of linguistic choices interadaptable with language users＇ mental world, social world and physical world. Appropriate redundancy strategy can ensure a successful and smooth communication.
