摘　　要：法国,一个美丽的国度;巴黎,浪漫之都。即使没有去过巴黎的人,一提起它也都会引起许多美好的遐想,法式大餐、法国女郎、时装、香水、邂逅,好像这里从来就不缺乏浪漫,连钢铁机械也沾染了一些气息,变得生动且新潮。原来这里除了有闻名于世的世界顶级时装秀,还有世界级的建设工程机械设备展览会——INTERMAT2006。第一次到巴黎,之前憧憬的各种浪漫与兴奋被语言这一关搞得没了情绪,由于法国司机一点英语也不懂,再加上不认路也没有GPS,倒乘了两趟出租车我们才抵达宾馆。出门问路,十个人有九个不懂英语,也才知道原来法国人热爱自己的母语竟会达到这种疯狂的程度。我想这次INTERMAT2006一定不会让我失望。Paris is a beautiful city. It is famous for fashion show, but there's also famous international construction machinery exhibition. INTERMAT 2006 was held in Paris Nord-Villepinte exhibition centre in April 24-29. Different from domestic exhibitions, visitors were quite few in the first day. However, the number grew in the following days. According to the organizer, the 7th INTERMAT attracted record numbers, confirming its status as a key international event, with 209,032 visitors, 45% of whom came from 160 countries. There were 1400 exhibitors, 75% international from 42 countries. INTERMAT 2006 reflects the growth recorded in 2005 in the European construction equipment market, which was up 10% in 2004 with a record turnover of around 21 billion euros. Growth in the European construction equipment market (residential and non-residential construction and civil engineering) is forecast to achieve 1.6% in 2006 (as against 1% in 2005).
