摘　　要：指出目前许多大学物理教材中直接利用麦克斯韦速率分布函数推导方均根速率的方法是不严格的,属于循环论证.采用初等方法和科学猜想方法对麦克斯韦速率分布律进行了严格的数学推导分析,并得出了正确的结果.It is pointed out that the derivation of root mean square speed of gas molecules, based on Maxwell distribution function in the textbooks used by many universities, is not rigorous. A primary method and a scientific supposition method are used to present a rigorous mathematical derivation and analysis to the Maxwell distribution of molecular speed.
