摘　　要：重点学科的培育是地方民族院校谋求发展、提升竞争力的重要举措。在进行重点学科培育时,除了遵循学科发展的基本规律外,还应有自身的发展原则:突出民族特色、形成竞争优势、注重科研先导作用和坚持可持续发展。The construction of the priority field of study is the important measure for development and improving the competitiveness in local colleges for nationalities. During the construction of the priority field of study, besides following the basic rules of the field of learning, it~ necessary to possess their own developing principles as follows： highlighting the characteristics of nationalities; forming the advantage in competition; emphasizing the leading and guiding functions of science and research and insisting the sustainable development.
