摘　　要：不同民族在使用各自的语言时都有自己的选词偏好。其原因有历史的、文化的、习俗的,也有文学名著的影响,还有大思想家、文学家等对后世的影响。本文以英语的明喻和汉语的明喻为主题,探讨不同民族在使用明喻时的共同点和不同点,从一个侧面对语言进行对比研究。People in different nations may have their own favorite choices of words in the use of language. The reasons may be historical, cultural, habitual, or of the influence of masterpieces and great scholars. With English and Chinese simile as the research topic, this paper discusses the similarities and differences in the use of simile between the two languages.
