摘　　要：本文在细读《黑暗的中心》文本的基础上,探讨了这部小说的反殖民主义主导倾向及其不容忽视的殖民意识,指出故事叙述人马洛的话语矛盾及作者康拉德自身价值取向和道德标准的矛盾性。This paper, based on close textual analysis of Joseph Conrad＇s famous novel Heart of Darkness, argues that while anticolonialism is the major thematic concern of the novel its implied colonialist consciousness is not to be overlooked, and that the inconsistency in the narrator Marlow＇ s discourse coincides with the author Conrad＇s contradictory value judgment and moral standards.
