摘　　要：本文从宏观和微观的角度评述了当前学术界关于周湘研究的现状,指出在这些研究中,普遍的问题是资料挖掘的不足,并且众说纷纭,导致周湘成了一个扑朔迷离的人物。尽管如此,这些研究成果还是对周湘的深入研究提供了良好的启发和基础,提供了铺路石的作用。Zhou Xiang, the exploiter of early art educ ation and the active propeller of western paintings in Shanghai, had a great status and significance in the history of fine arts in modem times. It is a pity that the value of Zhou Xiang has not been recognized in China up to the present. The author summarizes and apprai ses them by studying relative materials.
