比较中西文化中颜色词汇的象征意义

摘　　要：在英汉语言中,表示色彩的词很丰富。由于文化差异,不同的民族对颜色词汇的理解也不同。通过对中西文化中颜色词的基本象征意义的对比分析,从不同角度强调了英汉颜色词的民族特性,以更好地了解各民族文化的差异,避免在跨文化交际中产生失误。There are many words with colors meaning both in Chinese and English. However, difference nations have quite difference understanding about color. Though comparison of the color symbolization between china and the western countries and emphasizing these words with national character we can understand best the difference between all nation＇s cultures, so we can avoid the failure during cross--cultural communication.
