摘　　要：详细介绍了项目反应理论,分析了项目反应理论在计算机自适应考试系统中的应用。介绍了自适应考试系统中知识库的结构和系统整体架构设计思路,重点讨论了题库设计的原理和试题选取的方法。This paper introduces the item response theory （IRT）in detail, analyzes the application of this theory in computerize adaptive test as well as the structure and the methodology of designing Web examination system. It focuses on discussions of overall designation and several approaches of retrieving items from database.
