摘　　要：提出了一种基于人工神经网络的英文字母识别方法。以改进的人工神经网络BP算法为基础,设计了一个英文字母识别系统,对大小写英文字母进行识别。实验结果表明,改进的BP算法降低了网络训练次数,有效地对由多种字体组成的英文大小写字母样本集进行训练,实现了对多种字体的英文字母的识别。In this paper,a method of the Neural Network is proposed for the English letters recognition.The English letters recognition system is based on the improved BP algorithm,which can recognise capital or small letters.The simulations show the improved BP algorithm can greatly reduce the training times.The system has efficiently trained the samples aggregate composed of some kinds of English letter fonts,and completed the recognition of the English letters.
