摘　　要：城市供水业有着“经济命脉、城市血液、社会生命线”之称,被认为是城市经济和社会发展的晴雨表。随着城市化程度的不断提高,城市供水业的基础性作用显得越来越重要。本文分析了水资源短缺的原因,按照经济效益、社会效益和环境效益相统一的要求,利用层次分析法,提出了城市供水对象选择的优化方法,为加强水资源的有效利用,提供了一条可行的途径。Municipal water-supply industry is called ＂the vitals of the economy, the blood of the city, and a lifeline of the society＂, and is considered to be a barometer of municipal economic and social development. As the level of urbanization increases, the foundation function of municipal water-supply industry becomes more and more important. This paper analyzes the reason of water resource shortage, and according to the requirements of unification of social benefit, economic benefit, and environmental benefit, advances the choosing method that the water-supply enterprises select preferable supply objects. The suggested method offers a feasible approach for effective water resource utilization.
