摘　　要：英语词汇具有丰富的表情功能,在具体使用过程中这种表情功能要受到英语词汇词义本身、语言环境、历史背景、时代特征和委婉语等各方面的制约和影响。只有准确地把握这种表情功能,才能做好翻译工作。English words can express emotions in many ways. However, they are limited by meanings of the words, contexts, historical background, characteristics of the times and euphemism, etc. Only when we understand this function, can we translate them in a better way.
