种族二元格局之外的“他者”——解读福克纳文本中的主要混血儿形象

摘　　要：以乔.克里斯默斯、查尔斯.邦、克莱蒂和卢卡斯.布钱普等为代表的混血儿是福克纳小说中的一群重要艺术形象,是理解和阐释福克纳创作中种族叙事和表征的重要途径。在黑/白二分的种族格局中,福克纳笔下的混血儿,作为一类人,表现出了强烈的身份焦虑。与此同时,面对冷酷、残暴的社会文化机制,他们不但倍受压迫、歧视和剥削,而且沦为种族主义制度性暴力的受害者,成了主流意识形态构建的“他者”。Being mixed-blood characters, Joe Christmas, Charles Bon, Charles Etienne Bon, Clytie,Lucas Beauchamp and Butch Beauchamp play a significant part in Faulkner＇ s fiction, and to certain degree, they directly influence our understanding and interpretation of Faulknet and race. Mixed-blood characters, as a group, face a dilemma or even crisis of their racial identities, which is the essential trait of those characters, although the degree of their anxiety may vary. Furthermore,the disprivileged mixed-blood people have no voice,power,and they are exploited by the whites and usually become the victims of the radicalized culture.
