摘　　要：独立学院是在我国高等教育大众化进程中诞生的一种新的办学机制和模式。在公办高校与社会投资方的合作、独立学院的内部管理体制、办学定位、经费筹措等方面,有许多新的课题需要探索。独立学院在发展初期既表现出明显的优势,也存在一些需要完善的地方。必须创造条件,尽早实现独立学院真正的独立办学。Independent college is a new mechanism and mode of running schools that appears in the process of popularization of higher education in China. For independent college, there are many tasks needed solving, such as the cooperation between public universities and social investors, the internal management system, the orientation of running schools and the gathering of expense, etc. Independent college demonstrates some obvious advantages at its early stage, but it needs improving in some aspects. Therefore, some conditions must be created to fulfill the goal of running schools in truly independent way.
