摘  要:互联网艺术家在将“第四媒体”建设为艺术新家园的同时,看到了它因商业化等原因而产生的种种弊端。因此,他们与独立媒体、战术媒体、纯粹个人媒体建立了千丝万缕的联系。这种联系是网络时代媒体批判的重要形式。在实践中,他们揭示搜索引擎服务的商业本质,破除商业性浏览器所创造的万维网幻象,并对互联网上唯利是图的垃圾邮件等阴暗面加以批判。这种揭露与批判在很大程度上依赖于他们所掌握、应用或发明的技术,其积极作品表现为净化既有媒体、孕育新型媒体。While constructing "the fourth medium" as new home of arts, artists of the Internet art has come in sight of its various irregularities caused by commercialization and other reasons. Therefore, they have built up links with the independent medium,tactics medium, and pure personal medium. This kind of contacts is the important form of media criticism in the nettme. In practice, they has revealed the commercial essence of search engine service, getting rid of the world - wide - web mirage created by the commercial browsers, and attacked the negative things existing in Internet like junk mails and so on. This kind of revealing and criticizing depend on techniques controlled, applied or invented by them, and play positive roles in purifying current media and conceiving new media.
