摘　　要：本文讨论了运用数据挖掘技术优化大学英语多媒体教学的方法，主要介绍了数据挖掘技术在多媒体教学中的数据准备、数据挖掘、结果评价的三个主要过程，简述了四种数据挖掘模式的作用，数值实验表明了数据挖掘对大学英语多媒体教学的作用。This paper discusses the way to optimize college English teaching through multimedia by the application of data mining. It introduces the processes of data preparation, data mining and result evaluation of the data mining technology in the teaching through multimedia. It describes the functions of the four data mining patterns.
