摘　　要：在中英文古典诗歌中,诗人们对花的寄情有许多相似之处:借花抒情言志,借花设喻,借花衬托。但中国和英美两国有着不同的历史、文化渊源,中国诗人深受儒家、道教和佛教思想的影响,而英美诗人则深受古希腊罗马文化和基督教教义的影响,因此,在这些诗歌中,他们所体现出的人生观和女性观又有着极大的差异,这些差异使人类文明更加丰富多彩。The flowers are used both in Chinese and English classical poems to express feelings, compares with the woman and youthfulness and serve as a contrast with something else. On the other hand, Chinese poets are greatly influenced by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism while the English poets by the ancient Greek and Roman cultures and Christianity. Flowers also convey their different outlooks on life and woman.
