摘　　要：在现代文明的冲突中,沈从文的创作内涵不断扩大,反映了他走出湘西、想象追忆湘西及至重返湘西的全部社会生活资源,记录了当时下层民众生存状态的历史痕迹,从而拓展了现代乡土文学的边界。In modem cultural collisions, Shen Congwen has continually expanded the connotation of his novels, reflecting all the social phenomena appearing during his absence from, and his return to, West Hunan through imagination and recollection. His works have recorded the historical traits of the life conditions of the lower classes, thus widening the scope of modem local novels.
