摘　　要：对编辑活动与社会活动关系的研究是编辑学基本理论研究的重要课题之一,编辑活动必然要受到作为社会大系统构成要素的政治、经济、文化的影响;反过来,编辑活动也肯定会对社会活动产生积极的或消极的影响。在构建社会主义和谐社会的今天,重新认识编辑学的社会本质,认清其在我国社会主义现代化建设全局中作为文化传播者的重要地位,对构建和谐社会营造良好的舆论环境显得尤其重要。The research on the relationship between editing activities and social activities is an important subject in the basic theoretical research in the science of edition. Editing activities are influenced by political, economic and cultural factors which compose the social system; reversely, editing activities will exert both active and negative influences upon social activities. Nowadays all of us are trying to construct a harmonious socialist society. We should reconsider the social traits of the science of edition and see its important position as a culture transmitter in socialist modernization, which is vital to create a good media environment for constructing a harmonious society.
