摘　　要：该文从枝江董市镇的形成因素出发,结合其自然地理条件与历史、经济、文化背景,分析了“一江两河,南北并置”的空间格局,阐述了平行于长江的带状古镇空间形态以及“一主多支”的街巷结构,研究了古镇的建筑特色及其成因,以揭示董市古镇的地域文化特征。The paper starts with the forming factors of Dongshl Town, integrates its history, economic and cultural background-analyses its space structure of ＂one river and two brooks, juxtaposition of south and north＂, expatiates space form of ＂a strap district parallel to Changjieng River＂ and the structure of street which is one trunk with multi-branch, research the architectural characteristic of the historic town and the cause of that, to explore the regional culture features of Dongshi Town.
