摘　　要：半速率(Half Rate)是全球移动通信系统(GSM)网的业务承载方式之一。对半速率功能的触发和半速率信道调度方式进行了验证。论证了GSM网络在不同的半速率信道占有比例下半速率功能的开启对网络容量、质量和话音质量方面的影响,探索了半速率技术在GSM网络中应用的方式、方法和策略。Half rate （HR） speech is one way of GSM business. This article verifies the function of Half Rate speech and the way of half rate channel deployment, proves the impact on three respects of network capacity, quality and speech quality of turning on of function under the proportion in different half rate speech channel, and explores the way, method and tactics in which technology of half rate speech is applied in GSM network.
