摘　　要：Respectively as great poets of romanticism in British and Chinese literatures, Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Li Bai share much in common in the sense of literary activities, theme and technique in their masterpieces of romantic poetry Kubla Khan and Traveling Tianmu Mountain in a Dream--A Parting Song, which coincidentally depict two ＂dreaming worlds＂ experienced by the two poets. Attempting to compare the two poems in a cross-cultural way, this thesis hopes to throw some light on understanding poetry of two different cultures.
