摘　　要：我国老一辈地球科学家中,很多人曾留学欧美,同时他们也具有深厚的国学基础,这种学贯中西的知识结构,使他们在传播地学科学知识与技能的同时,也传播了西方先进的科学文化,而后者往往更能给人以深刻的影响与启迪。Many Chinese geoscientists of older generation have experience of studying overseas with rich background in sinology. This knowledge structure of linking Chinese and foreign cultures enables them to transmit geoscience knowledge and professional skills as well as the advanced western culture, methodology and value. The latter plays even more important role in influencing people＇s thoughts.
