摘　　要：公安高校学报只有准确定位,明晰办刊思路,找到刊物发展与社会需要的最佳结合点,才能走出一条独特的辉煌之路。公安高校学报除了要重视被索量、被摘量、被引量等期刊评价指标外,还要重视社会评价,尤其是全国公安机关百万民警的评价。公安高校学报质量评价应有一套系统的评价指标,其中时代性、特色、发现和培养人才等问题应是十分重要的评价指标。Only when the public security universities aim at the right position, be clear about the way of the journal and find the bonding point of the journal and the needs of the society can we find a bright way. The public security universities journals should pay attention to the appraisal of society, especially the appraisal by the policemen besides the quantity of the index, extract and citation. The evaluation on the quality of the public security universities journal should have its evaluation indicator, the temporal spirit, the characteristics, the discovery and the training of the talents should be important evaluation indicator.
