摘　　要：在自然语言中,歧义是一种普遍存在的语言现象。英语中有些歧义是由于英语句子的线性结构所致。本文从句法结构这个层面分析了一些由介词短语引起的英语歧义句。文中提出的避免或减少这类歧义的具体方法,将给英语学习者提供一些帮助。In natural language, ambiguity is a universal phenomenon. In English, some ambiguities are caused by the English sentential linear structure. This paper, from the syntactic level, analyses some English ambiguous sentences, in which ambiguities are caused by the prepositional phrases, The specific techniques of avoiding or reducing ambiguity, proposed in this paper, will help English learners in this aspect.
