摘　　要：《黑暗之心》于1899年写成,它取材于作者约瑟夫.康拉德本人1890年在刚果的一段亲身经历———在非洲中部丛林中他所亲眼目睹到的可怕景象。在小说中,康拉德描绘出了欧洲殖民主义统治者道德上的堕落,他们试图把西方的文化和价值观念强加于非洲人民头上,同时进行大肆掠夺。当时的非洲处于殖民主义统治的最黑暗时期,非洲人民经受着历史上最黑暗的殖民主义剥削和压迫。Heart of Darkness was written by Joseph Conrad in 1899 based on his personal experience in Congo in 1890 --the horrible sights he had witnessed in the jungle of central Africa. in the novel, Conrad depicts the moral depreciation of colonial rulers who tried to impose we.stem culture and value on African people and plundered throughout Africa. It was a period when Africa was under the darkest colonial force and when the African people were subject to the darkest colonial exploitation and oppression in history.
