摘　　要：翻译既是一种语言转换过程,也是一项文化交流活动。在翻译过程中,由于语言符号的转变,其所蕴涵的文化意义也或多或少地出现信息传递的缺陷与困惑,如语言负载信息的传递缺陷、词汇的内涵差异与空缺现象、翻译是以源语文化还是以译语文化为标准等,要解决这些困惑,必须把文化翻译的基本原则定为“在目的语中忠实地再现原文的文化意义或者说在文化上信于原文”,并在“直译”、“直译加注”、“直译加意译”、“意译”这四种翻译方法中贯彻这一原则。Translation is a kind of process not only in language transformation but also in cross-cultural contact. Due to the change of linguistic symbols, their inborn cultures appear deficient and confused, e. g deficiency in linguistic information passage, difference and vacancy of vocabulary, which standard it musthold, culture of native tongue or translated tongue, etc.. Usually, there are four translation methods, i. e direct translation, direct translation with explanation, direct and paraphrasing translation, paraphrasing translation.
