以教学改革为核心 提高材料科学类人才培养质量

摘　　要：介绍了西南交通大学材料科学与工程学院近年来围绕教学改革这个核心,探索人才培养的新模式。阐述了在构建新世纪材料类人才培养体系、教学内容更新、教学手段及教学方法,构建课外实验教学平台、加强实践环节与职业教育相结合强化学生实践能力、强化学生就业能力,加强教师队伍建设,创建教学评价体系等方面做出的改革措施及所取得的教学改革成果.This article illustrates the new model of cultivating talents by means of teaching reform practiced in the School of Material Science And Engineering in Southwest Jiaotong University. It expatiates the reforming strategies and the teaching reform achievements, such as, to establish the system of training talents of material science in the new era; to update teaching contents, teaching methods; to construct a platform for extra-curricular practice; to strengthen teaching practice; to enhance students＇ practice ability and employment capacity by integrating vocational education; to reinforce faculty construction; to set evaluation system of teaching and learning, etc. This reform serves as a guide and mold to promote the healthy growing of Material Science discipline.
