摘　　要：由于各国法律对汇票出票记载事项的规定不同,翻译和处理涉外汇票时一般适用出票地法律,遵从信息等值转换和形式等效转换的翻译原则,促进汇票在国际间的流通和对外贸易事业的发展。Different countries have different laws regulating the contents on a bill of exchange.As a general rule,the original contents on the bill should be represented faithfully in its rendition into another language,which means that the translation and the handling of a foreign bill should be in line with the law of the issuing country.In turning a foreign bill of exchange into Chinese,we should therefore alter the standard Chinese form accordingly,in order to enhance the negotiability of the bill and to increase the develop- ment of China's international trade.
