摘　　要：着重研讨了GPS在军事、地球物理和大地测量、航空航天及空间技术、工程测试、交通运输及工农业生产中广泛的创新的应用情况,客观地总结了GPS是具有重要战略意义和较高实用价值的系统工程,是继移动通讯和互联网后的第三大高新应用技术,它将在国防建设、国民经济及现代社会中发挥极其重要的作用。This paper discussed emphatically the extensive innovatory applications of GPS in military affairs, geophysics and geodesy,aviation aerospace, space technique, engineering-testing, traffic-transportation, industry and agriculture, summarized objectively in conclusion that GPS is a system-engineering with important strategic-significance and great useful-worth. It is third grand new applied-technology after the mobile communication and the intemet. GPS will play ever more important function in national defence,national economy development and society of today field.
