摘　　要：外语磨蚀本质属性的界定,对于语言磨蚀的本体研究、外语教学研究和促进国内语言磨蚀研究的发展均具有重要的意义。本文通过对外语磨蚀研究历程的回顾,从以下八个方面分析和梳理了外语磨蚀的本质属性:诱发因素的归一性、发生机制的生理性、受蚀个体的独立性、受蚀对象的选择性、磨蚀过程的回归性、磨蚀速度的非均衡性、表现形式的隐匿性和再学习的优越性。To determine the essential attributes of foreign language attrition plays an important role in the researches of language attrition and of foreign language teaching, as well as in promoting the researches of language attrition in China. By reviewing the researches of foreign language attrition, the author summarized the attributes of foreign language attrition in the following eight aspects： exclusive inducement, physiological mechanism, independent attriter, selected linguistic elements, regressive attriting course, ununiformity speed, obscure performance, and accelerated relearning.
