英国英语与美国英语词汇差异的成因及表现  

What Caused Differences in Vocabulary between British English and American English and What Differences They Are

摘　　要：从英国英语与美国英语词汇产生差异的原因入手,进而就二者在同词异义、同义异词、特有词、拼写差异等四种词汇差异类型进行了分析、归纳。对英语词汇教学和比较都有一定的参考意义。After analyzing the cause of the differences between British English and American English, this paper tends to analyze the differences in vocabulary： 1） the same word with different meanings; 2） different words with the same meaning; 3）typical words; 4）different spelling. The author hopes, at the same time, that the paper may be beneficial to English vocabulary teaching and learning.
