摘　　要：王鸿祯先生早年毕业于北京大学,曾任北京大学教授兼秘书长。在北京大学学习和工作的十几年中,是王鸿祯先生步入地质科学和地质教育领域并蓄势待发奠基期。本文较全面地介绍了王鸿祯先生在北京大学时期的工作经历及对地质教育和北京大学所作的贡献。Hongzhen Wang, who acted as a sectary and professor in Peking University, graduated Peking University. He had set up firmly foundation for stepping into the field of geosciences and geological education during more than 10 years when he studied and worked in Peking University. This article introduces his work experiences and contributions that he did in geolog- ical education.
