摘　　要：随着地理信息系统的发展,如何有效地实现空间数据的存储和管理已经成为GIS中急待解决的问题。对象关系数据库,主要是Oracle数据库通过其Spatial组件,对空间数据的存储和管理提供了较为完备的支持。Data Manager作为组件式GIS——SmartGIS的数据组织与管理组件,探讨了如何实现空间数据在对象关系数据库存储与管理。As the technology of GIS develops, it has become a problem of great importance to effectively store and manage spatial data. Oracle provides a powerful component, namely Oracle Spatial, which takes the responsibility of management over spatial data. DataManager is a component for data organization and management, which is included in a suit of GIS components, SmartGIS. This paper discusses how to implement the storage and management of spatial data in ORDBMS by analyzing the design and implementation of DataManager.
