摘　　要：经典大学理念就是世界经典大学所提出的关于大学教育的性质、功能、规律乃至理想的具有普遍意义和久远价值的思想观念。新建本科院校传承经典是为了接续大学的精神、文化,弥补文化积淀的不足,探寻办学理念、科学定位与特色发展的有机融合,以使自身的发展、创新根植于更加深厚的文化土壤之中。The classic university concept conveys the modes of thought among the word classic universities, Wnlcnare of universal significance and longlasting value. It defines the nature, function, Law and ideal of the ollege education, newly-establishment undergraduate colleges inherit those classic ideas in order to achieve the spirit of college edcation, toremedy scentific orientation intellectual defects, and to build up a harmonious relationship between the schooling concept, and characteristic development, and hence to root their development to the richer soil of culture.
