摘　　要：笔者作为参加《图书馆合作与信息资源共享武汉宣言》签名仪式的西部图书馆代表之一,对活动的全过程及《宣言》的内容感触颇深,感想很多,特别是对西部贫困地区图书馆的合作有一些想法。本文针对西部贫困地区高校图书馆的合作问题,就西部贫困地区高校图书馆怎样进行合作,合作的意义、方式、困难以及建议和方案等,谈了个人的想法,进行了一些初步探讨。As one of the delegates of western library who took part in the signing ceremony of Wuhan Declaration for Library Cooperation and Information Resource Sharing, the author thought a lot about the whole procedure of the activity, especially about library cooperation and resource sharing among colleges and universities in western depressed areas. This paper makes a preliminary discussion on the significance, means, barriers, suggestions as well as blue print of library cooperation among colleges and universities in west depressed areas.
