摘　　要：肌肽是一种由β-丙氨酸和L-组氨酸合成的天然二肽化合物,在动物体内广泛分布,如大脑,肌肉等。肌肽具有抗氧化、抗糖基化、清除自由基、调节生理pH值等广泛的生物学作用。近年来的研究发现,肌肽对多种中枢神经系统疾病具有潜在的治疗作用,如阿尔茨海默病,帕金森病,脑缺血性疾病。深入研究肌肽与中枢神经系统疾病的内在关系,研究和开发肌肽类药物,将为中枢神经系统疾病的治疗开拓新的方向。The naturally-occurring dipeptide carnosine （β-alanyl-L-histidine） is found exclusively in animal tissues, such as brain and skeletal muscle tissues. Carnosine is a potent hydrophilic antioxidant, antiglycating agent, reactive oxygen species scavenger and pH-buffer. Recent reports suggest that carnosine has potential therapeutic applications in many diseases of central nervous system, such as Alzheimer＇s disease, Parkinson＇s disease and cerebral ischemic diseases. To investigate the relationship between carnosine and diseases of central nervous system,and to research and develop carnosine drugs will shed light on a new way for treatment of diseases of central nervous sytem.
