摘　　要：本文指出五四新文学的产生,可以在中国民间文学的源流中找到与它相关的渊源。基于反抗传统文化、创建现代文学的需要,五四激进文人恰好就是民间文化及其价值的重视者和肯定者。北京大学自1918年展开的向全国征集近世歌谣的运动,是五四新文化运动的一个重要组成部分。这场以现代民主意识和科学手段走向底层民众文化审美空间的伟大尝试,促进了新文学面貌的改观和提升了新诗的文学地位。The article points out that Producing of May 4th modem literature can look for its related origin in the course of development of Chinese literary folks. Basing on the demand of to resist the traditional culture and to create the contemporary literature, the May 4th radical scholar is just a folks culture and its value thoughtful of with affirmative. It is an importance exercising constitute part of May 4th new culture sport which the folk song＇ s sport to whole nation was collected in Peking University from 1918. This is a great trial to head the appreciate beauty space of the folks culture in the most first floor. With the modem democracy consciousness and the science means, which promoted the present new looking of modem literature feature and promoted the modem poetry＇ s literature position.
