摘　　要：名词化以其表面的客观性和简洁性而为科技话语所青睐。然而,语言形式与其微观功能之间并非一一对应的关系。对环境话语中物质过程名词化现象生态角度的批评性分析表明,由于“动作者”、“目标”等成分地位的降低、“过程”的“物化”、以及小句的压缩等原因,如果使用不当,这类语言形式往往具有妨碍人们正确认识环境问题的负面功能,不利于培养人们的环境意识。Nominalization is much favored in the. scientific discourse, largely for its overt conciseness and objectivity. However, there is no one- to- one relationship between a linguistic form and its micro -function. An ecocriticism on the nominalization of material processes in the environment discourse shows that, due to reasons such as the degradation of the actor and the goal, thingification of the process, and condensation of theclause, this type of linguistic form may, if used improperly, prevent people from understanding correctly the environmental problems, and is therefore unfavorable for the nurturing of people＇s environment awareness.
