摘  要:将弹性介质中的几何和运动非线性方程简化成具有电磁场中的Born-Infeld方程的形式。A general equation of one dimensional nonlinear wave motion in elastic media is derived in this paper. The analytical solution, whose behaviour is similar to that of a soliton solution in some aspects and which is called a soliton like solution, is then obtained from solving this equation by means of the method of hodograph transformation. Finally, it is proposed that under some circumstances this equation can be simplified into the famous Born Infeld equation in electrodynamics, which indicates a new way for the electromagnetic analog of nonlinear wave motion in elastic media.
