Analysis of nutrition status among the freshmen in our college

摘  要:目的了解我院2005级、2006级新生营养状况,分析其分布特征,为学生营养指导提供依据。方法采用回顾性调查方法,随机查阅我院2005级及2006级新生入学体检表3000份(入选2971份),根据学生来源不同分为初中生源组和高中生源组,对新生身高、体重及体质指数(BMI)按不同生源进行统计、分析。结果我院新生体重过低、超重及肥胖发生率分别为20.16%、5.55%、1.14%,总异常率达26.86%。高中女生及初中男生体重过低发生率明显高于高中男生与初中女生,超重发生率则高中男生与初中女生明显高于高中女生,差异具有显著性(P<0.005);肥胖发生率各种生源比较均无显著性差异(P>0.05)。结论我院新生营养不良与营养过剩双重存在。控制饮食可使营养过剩发生率降低,过度控制饮食将增加体重过低的发生率,青少年学生必须进食全面、均衡和适量的营养。Objective: To understand the nutrition status in freshmen from the year of 2005 and 2006, and analyze its distribution characteristic for purpose of nutrition guidance. Methods: Using retrospective study, a total of 2971 physical examination charts of matriculation were enrolled randomly from 2005 and 2006 level of freshmen in our college. According to the source of students, we divided them into the junior high- school student and the senior high-school student source group. The height, weight and body mass index (BMI) were analyzed. Results: The rate of low body weight, overweight and obesity among the freshmen were 20.16%,5.55%,1.14%,respectively. The totally abnormal rate was 26.86%. The rate of low body weight in female of the senior high-school group and male of the junior high-school group were significantly higher than that in male of the senior high-school group and female of the junior high-school group (P〈0.005), the rate of overweight in male of the senior high-school group and female of the junior high- school group were signifieantly higher than that in female of the senior high- school group(P〈0.005). However, the rate of obesity had no significant difference between the groups(P〉0.05). Conclusion: The malnutrition and ovemutrition exist simultaneously in our freshmen. Controlling diet may decrease the rate of overnutrition, however, overcontrolling diet may increase the rate of low body weight. The teen-agers student must take food composing comprehensive, balanced and appropriate amount nutrition.
