摘　　要：文章概述了云南少数民族体育产生的自然地域背景、历史文化因素、宗教民俗文化,以及与政治经济的联系,运用文献资料法、通过实地调查,探讨了这一少数民族集居区的体育活动,以及健身娱乐功能,为开发和推广云南少数民族传统体育服务。This article analyses the original backgrounds of minority traditional sports in Yunnan, such as natural region, factors of historical culture, religion and folk -custom culture, and its relations with politics and economy. The authors discuss the characteristics and values of sports fitness and entertainment of minority traditional sports in Yunnan according to the literature material and authors＇ field investigation. The authors have an attempt to promote and develop minority traditional sports.
