摘　　要：《关于完善人民陪审员制度的决定》已于2005年5月1日起施行,这是我国历史上第一部关于人民陪审员制度的单行法律,既是依法治国建设社会主义法治国家的必然要求,也是司法体制改革的一个新起点。《决定》的颁行,对于完善和改革我国审判制度将会产生重大而深远的影响。＂The Decision to Improve People Jury System＂ was executed in may 1, 2005, which is the first specific law about the people jury system in Chinese history, and a requirement of building a socialism country under the hale of the law and a new staring point for the reform of judicature system. The execution of the ＂Decision＂ has significant and profound influence on the improvement and reform of the judicial system in China.
