摘　　要：彼得拉克是意大利文艺复兴运动的代言人,是倡导人文主义的先驱,其所处时代正值欧洲中古向近代转型时期,新时代有一个艰难的蜕变过程,充满了矛盾与困惑,彼得拉克的思想正体现出时代的特征。他是一个结点,一个时代的矛盾之结,从他身上可以找见时代的影子,越过他,就很难理解欧洲从中古向近代转型的许多问题。必须解开彼得拉克这个历史的结点,我们才能更清楚地理解人类自身在困顿挫折中屡踣屡起的精神实质。Petrarch was a spokesman of Renaissance, He initiated Humanism. The Era which he lived was the transformation of the West from Middle Ages to Modem Times. It was full of difficulty, hardships and contradictions. Petrarch＇s thought embodied the characteristics of the era. He was a contradictory knot. We could find the reflection of the times from Petrarch. It was very difficult to understand many problems of the transformation of the West if we neglected him. Only when we untie the knot can we comprehend the essence of the human spirit which advances in difficulty more clearly.
