摘　　要：非语言代码和语言代码共同传达语言意义和文化信息。非语言代码与文化关系密切,英汉非语言代码的文化差异是文化误译的主要原因之一。为保证译文忠于原作并避免误译,译者还要关注不同非语言代码间的文化差异,克服认识、行为、心理、知识和观念等五个方面的障碍。Non-verbal codes, along with verbal codes, denote linguistic meaning and cultural information. Cultural differences between English and Chinese non-verbal codes become an important reason of miseultranslation. Translators must focus on not only verbal codes but also cultural differences between nonverbal codes to fulfill faithfulness to the original, and they should also work out ways to overcome obstacles in understanding, behavior, psychology, knowledge and sense.
