摘　　要：作为拥有十多亿人口的世界第二大发展中国家，印度政府为发展教育事业做出了巨大努力。独立以来，印度逐步建立了种类繁多、内容丰富的奖助学金制度，为处境不利人口接受教育提供了机会，为印度社会全面发展奠定了基础。As the second largest developing country in the world with population more than a billion, Indian made great efforts to develop education. Since its independence from British, Indian gradually established an education financial support system with various types of scholarships/fellowships and enriched means which provide opportunities for disadvantaged people for education, lays a foundation for Indian all-rounded development.
