英汉语人名对比研究新探

摘　　要：姓名作为人类社会特有的现象,它既是社会的产物,也是语言的产物。它随着社会的发展而发展,也随着语言的发展而发展,形成了一个独具特色的完整体系。作为人类文化的重要组成部分之一,姓名的历史悠久,内涵极其丰富。本文试图通过从不同角度对英汉语中的人名进行比较,对它们之间的异同点作了探讨分析,重点讨论了结构上的异同和英、汉语中人名的新趋势,以帮助人们通过姓名这一窗口来了解英语国家的历史、语言、心理、宗教等,从而达到促进中西交流的目的。As a unique social phenomenon, name is the offspring of both the society and language. And name formed its own special system in the development of the society and language. As an important part of the human culture, name has a long history and is rich in connotation. From different points of views concerning English and Chinese names, this paper probed into their history, structures, and cultural connotations, which will be conducive to becoming acquainted with the customary similarities and differences in names, so as to promote the cultural exchange between China and western countries.
