摘　　要：本文就中英文两种语言的拟声词翻译做了对比，即英文拟声词的汉译以及汉语拟声词的英译。由于汉语里一般采用直接摹写声音的拟声词，而在英语里一些动词和名词本身就具备了拟声的特点，融音与意为一体，引起音与音之间的联想。因此本文论述了拟声词在翻译时需要考虑的这些差异和两种语言互译时封拟声词的处理方法。The paper contrasts the translation of onomatopoeia between English and Chinese, since onomatopoeias are adopted directly to imitate the sounds in Chinese language, and some English words in themselves are with onomatopoetic characteristics, which interweaves the sound and meaning together. So the article illustrates how to deal with this difference and also the problems during the course of translation.
