Effects of transgenic hybrid rice on non-target populations of planthoppers in paddy fields

摘  要:以常规稻Ⅱ优明86为对照,研究了转双价基因(cry1Ac+SCK)抗虫杂交稻Ⅱ优科丰6号对稻飞虱田间种群的影响。采用吸虫器法调查结果表明,Ⅱ优科丰6号在水稻的整个生育期内,对白背飞虱Sogatella fucifera、褐飞虱Nilaparvata lugens种群及飞虱若虫群体均未产生显著影响;田间卵量剥查镜检结果表明,Ⅱ优科丰6号生长前期对白背飞虱的产卵有一定的吸引和刺激作用,而后期对褐飞虱的产卵有一定的拒避和抑制作用,但从整个生育期来看对飞虱的产卵行为无显著影响。因此,从短期研究结果分析,Ⅱ优科丰6号对非靶标害虫稻飞虱田间种群表现安全,同时也未引起稻飞虱田间种群猖獗。In 2005, field investigations were conducted on the Well-bred Farm in Fujian Province to assess the effects of transgenic hybrid rice ( Ⅱ Youkefeng 6) with fused genes of crylAc and SCK on the non-target populations of planthoppers (Sogatellafucifera and Nilaparvata lugens) in paddy fields, with the non-transgenic hybnd rice ( Ⅱ Youming 86) as the control. Populations of planthoppers (nymphs and adults) were sampled with the vacuum-suction machine, while eggs in tissues were counted by microscopic examination. The results showed that during the whole rice growing season, Ⅱ Youkefeng 6 did not significantly impact the populations of planthopper adults and the nymph group. As for the planthopper eggs, during the early stage Ⅱ Youkefeng 6 had some attraction for S. fucifera to oviposit, and during the late stage it would deter N. lugens from oviposition to some extend, however, when viewed as a whole for the rice growing season, Ⅱ Youkefeng 6 had no significant effect on the planthopper ovipositing behaviour. In general, our results suggest that Ⅱ Youkefeng 6 did not adversely affect the non-target populations of N. lugens and S. fucifera in paddy fields, and also would not cause planthoppers to outbreak in a short period of time.
